Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Nickel plated receiver finely engraved by the artists at Bottega Incisioni di Cesare Giovannelli. The engraving executed using the most advanced technologies available today is finely finished by hand. The gold inlaid game scenes on the sides. The Bernardelli semi-automatic shotguns are 12 gauge magnum gas operated self loaders with popular characteristics of other similar designed semi-automatic shotguns and can fire ammunitions from 24 to 56 grams. The Bernardelli semi-automatic shotguns are manufactured from the best raw materials available. The receiver is made from a very resistant high alloy material (Ergal 55), which combines the strength and the resistance of steel with the light weight of aluminium. The barrels are made from special steel and then finished and treated to give the hunter the durability required in the harshest environment. Walnut used for stock end fore-end is brought from Turkey, where you can still find today the best availability and selection (from standard to high grade). External finishing and engraving is done at the highest possible level through partnership with Bottega Incisioni di Cesare Giovanelli. Bernardelli offers a complete line of accessories and three years after sales service warranty. All Semiautomatic shotguns undergo the high pressure STEEL SHOT test as per CIP standards and are consequently marked by the National Proof House.
