Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The XT3 is a durable gun with very high-quality components, including a precisely milled action bar with weldless design, a ratcheting barrel lock ring, and a solid, dual-ring gas piston. Fed by a detachable, bottom-feeding magazine, the XT3 also is the fastest-cycling semi auto we've ever seen. This popular tactical version features a removable muzzle brake and 18.5" barrel. Ships in a hard case with sling and two five-shell magazines. A limiting screw may be installed to limit the magazine capacity to two shells.
