Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. All Condors feature a blued receiver sporting a high-polish and machine-turned monobloc sides. Recesses on the monobloc engage trunnion pins on either side of the receiver and pivot on them to allow smooth, solid and secure opening and closing. The Condor Youth, featuring .410 and 20-gauge with fixed chokes, allows young shooters and ladies to get in on the action. Of course a .410 model with its petite and slender barrels and action is also available in standard stock dimensions for quail-hunting aficionados or skeet shooters looking for a new challenge.
