Shotguns Descriptions

Browning Silver Hunter

The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The low recoiling Browning Silver Hunter Matte Semi-Auto Shotgun allows for fast follow-up shots and all-day shooting comfort on the clays range or wing shooting.Lightweight and fast handling2-tone silver/black receiverBlued barrelTurkish walnut stockVentilated recoil padActive Valve gas systemCycles 2-3/4" and 3" shellsVent rib and brass front beadInvector-Plus choke tubesBack bored barrel

Sabatti S.p.A. Saba 395 12GA24"

This is a side-by-side double-barreled shotgun styled in the traditional manner. It is designed for a wide variety of gauges and four barrel lengths. The Saba uses an improved Anson & Deeley lock, and the breech is made from chrome-nickel steel which has been tempered at high temperatures after engraving. The barrels are bored out from solid bars of chrome-molybdenum steel. The barrels are further formed into a monobloc. The barrels are locked into the breech using double-lug locking. The bores are lined with a layer of hard chrome. The stock and fore-end are of select walnut root. The Saba may have a single selective trigger or a double trigger. The Saba has shell extractors instead of ejectors. A special variant of the Saba is the Saba Slug; it has a short 24 3/8-inch barrel and is designed for large game, with a barrel designed for slugs, sabots, or coarse shot. (Buckshot is not recommended, as it may cause excessive barrel wear.) The Saba Slug has a raised front sight and a sloping barrel rib with a folding rear leaf sight.
