Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Ruger Red Label 4192
Automatic two-position tang safety/barrel selector. Finely polished stainless steel receiver is corrosion-resistant and has no exposed pins or screws. Reliable single mechanical trigger that allows for firing the second barrel without recocking and features rebounding hammers for easy opening. Precision matched, blued alloy steel, cold hammer-forged barrel is made of high-strength chrome-molybdenum steel and features 2 inch forcing cones and maximum back boring for recoil reduction and more uniform patterns. 1/4 inch dovetailed, free-floating ventilated rib with brass bead front sight is stress relieved, contour-grounded, precisely fitted and silver-brazed (sot soft-soldered) to the finished monoblock. Cut-checkered American Walnut stock features a traditional pistol grip, tapered, slim forend and a stainless steel latch release. Soft Pachmayr butt pad is mounted on the 14.5 inch length of pull stock which features a 1.5 inch drop at the comb and a 2.5 inch drop at the heel. Five steel-shot compatible screw-in Briley chokes (two skeet chokes and one full, one modified and one improved cylinder choke, plus a premium-quality Briley choke tube wrench). Includes custom molded semi-soft case. Made in America.
