Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Renato Gamba 624 Prince Extra CH2.75"-20GA-27"
All of the model 624 shotguns have engraved on the bottom of the action a "Woodcock", queen of the winged birds, to whom this side-by-side is dedicated. It is for actually hunting this prey, with its evasive flight characteristics that require strong, fast, and short distance shoots, that we offer a special version of the 624 Prince. It is called the "Woodcock" and is standard with 25-inch barrels and concave "Chuchill" type rib. It weighs in at a scant 6 pounds approximately and is a very fast-handling upland gun. All other features remain the same as the standard 624. For the even more demanding shotgunner, we offer the M-624 Extra and M-624 Lux. The extra is a rounded/scalloped action body which we have engraved in the classic Westly Richards relief style. This gun resembles guns costing over twice as much yet has the advantages of modern manufacture and techniques. Of course, all finished work is hand done just like all of our other guns. The M-624 Lux is the same basic action bun is engraved with game scenes in the burin style. All side-by-side shotguns made by Gamba are delivered in a hand luggage case. All of these are custom-made and therefore available with any option the customer chooses. All side-by-side shotguns can be produced as a "pair" at the customer's request. All guns are covered by a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. Single trigger upon request. Anson-type trigger group. Double Purdey locking system. Standard forend.
