Shotguns Descriptions
Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The low recoiling Browning Silver Hunter Matte Semi-Auto Shotgun allows for fast follow-up shots and all-day shooting comfort on the clays range or wing shooting.Lightweight and fast handling2-tone silver/black receiverBlued barrelTurkish walnut stockVentilated recoil padActive Valve gas systemCycles 2-3/4" and 3" shellsVent rib and brass front beadInvector-Plus choke tubesBack bored barrel
Remington V3
The V3 uses Remington's patented gas-operated reloading system found in the Versa Max. The chamber that holds a shell when it is fired has a series of holes that regulate gas flow; shorter shells expose more of the holes than longer shells. While their designs are similar, the V3 and the Versa Max share no internal parts. Compared to the Versa Max, the V3 is lighter in weight and is priced lower.
