Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The Model 870 Express Super Magnum Turkey Synthetic provides the heavy load capacity of 12-gauge, 3.5-inch shells for turkey hunting at an affordable price. Simultaneously, it allows the optional flexibility of using any other 12-gauge loads in 3-inch or 2.75-inch shell lengths as well. The standard Turkey Extra Full Rem Choke delivers desirably dense patterns with all loads, and can be interchanged with other Rem Chokes. Fast pointing and precise sighting result from the 26-inch vent-rib barrel with both ivory front and steel mid-beads. The Mossy Oak stock and matte-black metal finish on barrel and receiver blend unobtrusively into any background.
