Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Chrome plated bore; blued barrel. Dual locking lugs. Vent rib barrel. Front bead sight. Silver receiver; scroll engraving. Satin finish on select black walnut stock and forearm. Fourteen inch length of pull. Set of five choke tubes come with the 12, 20 and 28 gauge models: 1 Cylinder, 1 Improved Cylinder, 1 Modified, 1 Improved Modified and 1 Full. .410 model comes with fixed modified and fixed full.
