Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The Mossberg® 500® Persuader® 12 Gauge Pump-Action Shotgun has a 5+1-round capacity for 2-3/4" shells, while the 18.5" barrel with a cylinder bore choke provides accuracy in the field. The synthetic black stock and forearm are durable and rugged, while the thumb-operated safety is ambidextrous for convenience. The shotgun also has a front bead sight, twin action bars and a blued finish.
