Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The heart of the JIC package is the venerable 12 gauge Mossberg 500 Pump-Action. Fitted with a compact 18-1/2 barrel and rugged synthetic pistol grip and forearm, its offered in your choice of the blued Cruiser model, the Mariner, or the Sandstorm featuring our proprietary Marinecote finish for employment in or around harsh marine environments. Each is sealed in a re-sealable clear bag, and is packaged in a heavy-duty, waterproof synthetic carrying-tube complete with re-sealable top and nylon carrying strap. Youll also find convenient accessories including the waterproof Survival Kit-In-A-Can (Cruiser model), or the durable multi-tool and serrated lock-back knife combo pack with cordura case (Mariner model).
