Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. This 590 Special Purpose shotgun has a 3-inch chamber for 12-gauge shells. The 20" barrel has a front sight bead and, to keep up with the 9+1 capacity, a heat shield. This model has a special treat - the forend houses a shock-resistant L3/Insight Technology light delivering 125 peak lumens. This tactical forend light operates with an ambidextrous side touchpad for temporary or fixed on and strobe beam settings. Set in a black synthetic stock, the metal finishes are blued. 8+1 capacity total of 9 round capacity.
