Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Combining the best features of the Mossberg 590 and the ground-breaking Shockwave, Mossberg has created a "best of both worlds" option for the home-defense market, the Shockwave 590M. The Shockwave 590M provides all of the "tight quarters" maneuverability and tactical advantages of the original Shockwave, but with a 10-round capacity. But the advantages don't stop there. Its left and right side magazine release, combined with a tang safety, make this firearm truly ambidextrous. It also comes standard with a 14.375-inch cylinder bore barrel, two sling studs, and a receiver drilled and tapped for a red dot sight.
