Shotguns Descriptions
Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The low recoiling Browning Silver Hunter Matte Semi-Auto Shotgun allows for fast follow-up shots and all-day shooting comfort on the clays range or wing shooting.Lightweight and fast handling2-tone silver/black receiverBlued barrelTurkish walnut stockVentilated recoil padActive Valve gas systemCycles 2-3/4" and 3" shellsVent rib and brass front beadInvector-Plus choke tubesBack bored barrel
Merkel 2002C
The long side plates are a traditional feature of fine hunting guns. They offer room for decorative engraving and optically extend the receiver. Merkel has produced the 2002C for lovers of these guns. The prismatically inset side plates make an impression with their perfectly handcrafted workmanship. A stock of class 5 walnut, a “Jagd” (game scene) engraving and the three-piece forearm with engraved screws bring the 2002C to “complete” perfection. Modified Anson & Deeley locks in steel receiver, Kersten cross bolt, selective single trigger, adjustable in the length, Manual safety with intercepting safety sear, disconnectable ejectors, game scene engraving Jagd, Stock with pistol grip and cheek piece (other stock available), three-piece forearm, interchangeable chokes steelshot proofed (2 chokes included).
