Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. This package includes the pistol grip kit- not shown in image. This shotgun package includes both the full stock and a pistol grip kit. Easily interchanges with no gun-smithing- just common tools. Full stock for sporting and hunting- quick switch and your ready for close quarters and home defense. Pistol grip is also great for vehicle use. Maverick 88 barrels are compatible with Mossberg 500 model barrels within gauge and capacity. All Maverick models include a cross-bolt safety in front of the trigger for speed and convenience All Maverick 88 choke tubes are fully interchangeable with Mossberg Accu-Choke tubes . 88 model barrels are equipped with 3" chambers and handle factory 2 " and 3 " loads. All Maverick barrels and choke tubes are capable of firing lead, steel or other non-toxic loads. All models feature a blued metal finish and durable black synthetic stock and forearm. All models feature dual extractors and twin action slide bars for positive, non-binding extraction and ejection. Free Cablelock included with each model.
