Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. A versatile, potent offensive weapon. Pump-action. The unique layout with a floating barrel positioned under the magazine enables to depart from the slide action, to obtain a considerable gain in weight, dimensions and magazine capacity. Downward ejection provides comfortable shooting for both right and left-handed shooters. The DAO system ensures safety when handling the shotgun with a chambered round. A covered magazine well and the lack of the ejection port eliminates the problem of dirt and dust inside the gun. Changeable choke tubes enable to use the shotgun in various roles.
