Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Action for this gun is System "Blitz" a special lock system where the mechanism is mounted on the trigger plate! Unique JOHANN FANZOJ gun model featuring a combination of three shotgun barrels. Light and well balanced, with the handling quality of the finest Game Gun. A third shot is immediately available, thus offering the ultimate advantage in bird hunting. Finest boulino engraving depicting dogs and birds, in a new composition with the animals woven into the ornament. First trigger firing right then left barrel, second trigger firing the bottom barrel. Locks: special action System "Blitz"with three hammers; sideplates, three individual extractors, manual safety. Triggers: first trigger for right, then left barrel - second trigger for bottom barrel. Trigger weight: 2,0kg (very best triggers are possible with H&H action) Lock: double underlugs lungs. Stock: elegant English straight stock, made to customer´s measurements, made of Circasian Walnut wood with strong marble structure, slightly reddish color, tear, fine checkering, exquisite oil finish. Best surface finish achieved by sandpaper/ oiling procedure (3-4months). Fanzoj uses special oil mixture - their own receipe. Barrel finish: deep-blued ( "Streichbrünieren": not the "dipping" method used in industrial gun manufacturing, but the more careful, longlasting method of applying the chemical liquid by hand several times a day - takes 4-5days all together.
