Browning Silver Hunter

The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The low recoiling Browning Silver Hunter Matte Semi-Auto Shotgun allows for fast follow-up shots and all-day shooting comfort on the clays range or wing shooting.Lightweight and fast handling2-tone silver/black receiverBlued barrelTurkish walnut stockVentilated recoil padActive Valve gas systemCycles 2-3/4" and 3" shellsVent rib and brass front beadInvector-Plus choke tubesBack bored barrel

Huglu 103F 12GA20"

This compact Huglu has lovely lines and is a perfectly scaled down over and under shotgun suited to shoot the .410 (36 gauge) cartridge. The action is machined from a solid steel block and conforms to the layout of a box lock type but in this case with the addition of side plates. These instantly transform the look of the little Huglu, especially as these and the whole action, back strap and trigger guard are all colour case hardened. This traditional finish to me is so much nicer than polished steel or chrome, as it instantly gives that warm ‘old world’ look and feel. Colouring is very even and well distributed and is accented by simple scroll work. The lock up is strong, with the barrel lumps traversing the action floor, looking nice and giving that all important extra surface area for security. The action sides are also a good thickness to cope with the high pressures exerted by the .410 round and there are also twin gas raceways to the action face to vent off any gases if a primer goes pop - nice idea.
