Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Escort Magnum semi-automatic shotguns feature SMART Valve gas pistons to regulate gas blowback to cycle each round - 2.75 range loads to 3-inch heavy magnums. Escorts also have the FAST loading system allowing one-handed round changes without changing the aiming position. These 20-gauge shotguns offer a ladies model with a 26" or a youth model with a 22" barrel, both with nickel-chrome moly- lined barrels proofed for steel shot. They include three choke tubes F, M and IC, and swivel studs. The stock and forend are finished in Muddy Girl camo and fitted with a Trio recoil pad with 3 spacers for lop adjustment.
