Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Holloway & Naughton Sporting Model
Multi Choke competition system comes in either flush or extended versions. Specially tuned barrels are made by request for FITASC and European Hunting where gun movement and target acquisition is so vitally important to develop shooting skill and bring the best out of competitors and hunters. De-luxe high grade Circasian walnut is normal for all models with the choice of either Pistol, English Semi pistol or Prince of Wales grip. Straight hand stocks are naturally recommended for double trigger models. Slim game, schnabel or special sporting forarms are standard options. Choice of single or double trigger. Choice of high quality engraving is available in either Rose and Scroll or foliated scroll with either semi bright or traditionally coloured actions.
