Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Hunting purpose 12 or 20 gauge, 3”/76 mm magnum chamber pump action shotgun. Turkish walnut stock and fore-end with checkering. Long fore-end providing faster and shorter action. Rubber butt pad for recoil absorption & 3 stock spacers to extend stock length of pull. Black anodized air craft alloy receiver with 11mm groove for scope mounts. Capability of firing both 3”/76 mm and 2 3”/70 mm shells. Nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel barrel. Outside black hard chrome finish & inside white hard chrome finish. Proof tested for 1200 kg/cm2 (17160 lb. per square inch). Available barrel lengths: 22”/55 cm, 24”/61 cm, 26”/66 cm, 28”/71 cm and 30”/76 cm. Checkered & ventilated anti-glare rib. Steel shot suitable multi 5 choke system (F, IM, M, IC, CYL). Magazine capacity: 4+1 rounds. Accessory magazine extension tube increasing capacity to 7+1. Accessory migratory plug decreasing capacity to 2+1. Comes with 4 stock shims to adjust stock drop and cast. Manual cross-button trigger safety. Sling swivels.
