Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Hunting purpose 12 gauge, 3”/76 mm chamber, gas operated semi auto shotgun. Advanced polymer compound synthetic stock & fore-end with checkering. TRIOPAD® butt system for maximum recoil absorption. Comes with 3 TRIOPAD® stock spacers (each 5 mm width) to change the stock length of pull. Black & white anodize finish air craft alloy receiver with relief engraving. Nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel barrel. Outside black hard chrome finish & inside white hard chrome finish. Proof tested for 1200 kg/cm2 (17160 lb. per square inch). Capability of firing both 3”/76 mm and 2 3”/70 mm shells of 7/8 ounce (24 gr) shot load to heavy 2 ounce (57 gr) load magnum shells. Medium width (8 mm) checkered ventilated anti-glare barrel rib. Steel shot suitable multi 5 choke system (F, IM, M, IC, CYL). Accessory magazine extension tube increasing capacity to 7+1. Accessory migratory plug decreasing capacity to 2+1. Magazine cut-off system for single shot. Manual cross-button trigger safety. Sling swivels.
