Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. H&H style assisted opening action. Entirely hand engraved, every detail painstakingly critiqued by master Basque engravers. Custom engraving and game scene patterns are also available upon request. Drop forged chopper - lump barrels made of superb quality Bellota, Nickel chromium steel. Disc set strikers and automatic selective ejectors. Exhibition grade, specially selected, walnut stock and forearm finished in a best quality, hand rubbed oil finish. Made under measurements. Gold oval for the initials fitted on the stock. Available in all gauges. 12 - 16 - 20 - 28 or 410 ga. Every Celtic or Supreme shotgun is delivered with a best quality, leather trunk style fitted case.
