Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Fixed chockes and varying barrel length on request. Hand-polished internal parts according to the best gun making tradition. Features best quality hand engraving executed to customer's specifications. Custom fitted stocks in select Turkish walnut at no extra charge. Customer choose from matt or gloss hand rubbed oil finish. English or pistol grip stock, splinter or beavertail fore-end, extractors or ejectors, flat or English-style rib, single or double trigger, chrome plated or color case-hardened frame. Also available a special slug version.
