Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The SAR Semi Auto Shotgun has duel smooth reliable action bar. Traditional machined thread on barrel extension. Traditional cross trigger block. Traditional machined locking block and bolt. Aircraft quality machined not cast aluminum receiver (Machined aluminum is traditionally much stronger than cast). Solid drilled and honed barrel. Stock and forend produced from the highest quality polymers, with the proper thickness of polymer throughout the part. Common modern choke tubes in a well known thread pattern.
