Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. De Haan/Huglu Model U2
DeHaan custom reworks imported over under shotguns made by Huglu. The wood to metal fit is outstanding. The joining of the Schnabel forearm, the receiver to butt stock, even the butt pad grind is above criticism. The hand engraving is beautiful the result of five or so hours of hand chiseling for the side plates alone on each and every DeHaan The wood has distinct mineral streaks and a satin finish.
