Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The Deluxe is available in 12 or 20 gauge with 26 or 28 barrels with a durable satin chrome finish that is very durable and corrosion-The flagship of our over/under line, the tried-and-true Redhead also gets our new 1-piece CNCed receiver. In addition, it gets the same laser-cut checkering, solid mid-ribs, pistol grip and a classy white bead. The Redhead Premier is a true all-purpose shotgun, it s just as comfortable to shoot at a sporting clays event as it is when chasing chukhar in the mountains. With a silver receiver and ejectors that kick out the spent shells automatically, the Redhead Premier is packed with features that can t be found on another shotgun in its price range. Turkish Walnut stocks, independent auto ejectors and 5 flush-mount choke tubes, all inside a hard plastic case.
