Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The 720 outfitted with the ATI adjustable stock was originally designed as a shotgun to fit the entire family. The combination of the quick-handling, soft-shooting 720 with gas-operated action and the ATI stock makes it easy for smaller-framed people to handle and effectively shoot. The ALS G2 has since been at home in a variety of situations, including turkey hunting, water fowling, 3-gun competition and youth trap shooting to name a few.
