Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The 712 Target is built with the price conscious target shooter in mind. This gun is built on the proven 712 action but features a 30 inch barrel with a 10mm stepped rib designed to pattern high for rising trap targets. This model is ideal for beginner shooters or parents looking to outfit their FFA or high school trap shooter with their first gun. This model is very simple to operate and maintain, plus the gas operated system and the full size target stock makes recoil seem nonexistent.
