Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Chapuis Armes Super Orion C35
Built on the same super-strong action as our over-and-under big game rifle, the Super Orion over-and-under game gun features the same interchangeable recoil/headspace plate and wide (32mm) locking lug set to bite in between the barrels. Scalloped and sculpted all-steel action with interchangeable recoil/headspace plate. Redesigned engraved english-style floral borders and game bird scenes on both action faces as well as action bottom. Blitz-type double trigger battery (single trigger on option). Straight english stock in AA fancy (extractor versions) or AAA fancy (ejector versions) hand-rubbed oil finished walnut with matching forend and walnut checkered buttplate (pistol grip stock optional). Shipped in a plastic gun case with Chapuis Armes logotype. This makes for a very robust and reliable gun and has let Chapuis Armes introduce the option of steel shot proofed barrels in both fixed and interchangeable choke versions. Superior proof mark procedure includes shooting a total of six overcharged (1 370 bar pressure) steel shot cartridges through each barrel. Most other makes of shotguns will not withstand the proof test when equipped with fixed chokes. The new barrels of the Super Orion over-and-under game gun are also available with internal interchangeable chokes options that also pass the steel shot proof. A specific surface treatment makes the interchangeable chokes very hard and durable. The interior profiles of both barrel and chokes have been specifically engineered to attain much better patterns than usual with steel pellets. Chapuis Armes has paid particular attention to the asthetics of the new Super Orion.
