Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Hand made engraving with game scene "Al bulino" engraved on both side plates and underneath the receiver. Medium relief floral ornaments going all around the receiver and signed by a Master Engraver. English style stock of circassian walnut in AAAAA fancy grade. Lengthened, bordered hand engraved trigger bow. Sling swivels fitted upon request. Shipped in a trunk-type fabric covered fitted case with Chapuis Armes logo. 700mm (27 in.) barrels with Straight Sighting Band and filler rib between barrels. 1/4 & 1/2 fixed superior proof for steel shot. On demand, can be manufactured with 3/4 & 1/4 fixed chokes and superior proof for lead shot.
