Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Medium relief floral ornaments going all around the receiver and signed by a Master Engraver. Blitz-type double trigger battery. English straight style stock in hand-rubbed oil finish AAAAA fancy grade circassian walnut with rosewood buttplate. Lengthened, bordered, hand engraved trigger bow. Sling eyes and swivels fitted upon request. Shipped in a trunk-type fabric-covered fitted case with Chapuis Armes logo. 600mm (24 in.) barrels with ventilated sighting rib and filler rib between barrels (fowling sighting rib, no filler rib on request). Superior proof for steel shot with rifle & 1/2 chokes. On demand, can be manufactured with rifle & 1/2 fixed chokes and superior proof for lead shot.
