Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The Summit Ascent is a modern sporting clays shotgun with an adjustable point-of-impact rib. The 10mm high tapered top rib is designed to shoot at 50/50% point-of-impact allowing for an upright shooting position and improved target visibility, making it the perfect Sporting Clays gun. The stock incorporates the DTS adjustable comb to make sure a variety of shooters can adjust the gun to fit precisely. The mass in the stock and barrels are engineered so the gun will balance perfectly. Optional DTS Kinetic Balancer system with multiple weights and micro adjustment.The system also includes kinetic recoil reduction and does not need to be removed to access the stock bolt when removing your stock. Left hand and custom stock dimensions are available. Selective and non-selective triggers are available. 5” long dual conical forcing cones for reduced recoil and improved patterns. 10mm tall rib allows for a more upright and comfortable shooting position while improving visibility. Maxis choke system with conical-parallel design and crowned exit radius for maximum pattern performance. A friction wrench with thread cleaner is supplied. 100 % of our barrels are tested and certified for correct point-ofimpact regulation. .735” Maxis oversized bore with chrome lining for optimal ballistic performance. New DTS trigger system with two trigger pull weight options, take up, over travel, and length of pull adjustments.
