Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The new Maxum Impact allows the shooter to adjust all critical specifications making it easy to fine tune the gun to their shooting style. Point-of-impact, overall weight, stock fit, trigger system, recoil characteristics, and balance are all customizable. The geometry of the Impact allows for an upright shooting stance, making your gun mount more comfortable while reducing felt recoil. The result is less strain on your neck and shoulders allowing you to concentrate on only the target. The 17mm tall tapered rib dramatically increases target visibility. D.T.S. Rib adjusts from 5% low to 90% high by simply turning one screw. 17mm tall D.T.S. rib allows for a more upÂright and comfortable shooting position while improving visibility. The Impact rib is 40% lower than our trap rib but, offers many of the same advantages. The Impact comes standard with the D.T.S. adjustable comb with patented 7 way adjustability and index screws for fine calibration. New D.T.S. trigger system with two trigger pull weight options, take up, over travel, and length of pull adjustments. Optional D.T.S. Barrel Balancers allow weight to be added anywhere along the barrel in seconds. Satin blued finish with Invisalloy clear protection. Satin blued barrels and rib to reduce glare. 100 % of barrels are tested and certified for correct point-of-impact regulation. All stocks are pre-fit for the optional D.T.S. Kinetic Balancer system with mulÂtiple weights and micro adjustment. The system also includes kinetic recoil reduction and does not need to be removed to access the stock bolt when removing your stock. Left hand and custom stock dimensions are available. A trap style semi-beavertail fore-end is also an option.
