Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. In 2014, as a result of our ongoing pursuit to make the most durable Target shotgun possible, we created the Invictus system. This design ushered in the most significant advancement in over-under durability in many years. Now we are introducing the DPS trigger system in the new Invictus V Trap. The system provides a remarkable improvement in weight, speed and take-up resulting in an ultra-crisp feel. We invite our customers to compare it to any target shotgun available today. All of the technology in the Invictus V Trap is complimented by the graceful side plate action with full-coverage engraving. This embellishment employs no fewer than four different engraving techniques, including many hours of hand engraving. The result is a stunning example of contemporary Italian Ornato style engraving with deep relief game scenes. The Invictus V is quite simply the perfect synthesis of technology and art.
