Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The Forum Sporting is in a class by itself, a remarkable creation that combines the legendary Italian gunmakers’ craft with technologically advanced manufacturing processes to produce a firearm that truly is a work of art. Each Forum created incorporates numerous hours of skilled hand labor. Every surface is hand polished, even many areas hidden from view, and every Forum’s components are hand fitted to insure flawless operation. The premium coin finished receiver and side plates are embellished with full coverage hand engraving featuring Bulino style game scenes framed in a graceful floral scroll. The Forum Sporting also incorporates a full tang trigger guard with hand engraving and is meticulously inletted into a stock of premium grade Turkish walnut. Like all Caesar Guerini Sporting guns, the Forum Sporting includes the following distinctive features: The DueCon forcing cones are a unique dual conical long forcing cone system designed by Caesar Guerini to produce optimum performance and maximum versatility. The first conical section maximizes chamber pressure and permits the use of fiber wad ammunition. The secondary 4.5" long forcing cone section reduces recoil and increases pattern uniformity. The adjustable trigger moves up to 1/2" to accommodate different hand sizes and incorporates an external adjustment for take-up. A Boss style ejector system with oversized cams ensures positive shell ejection and disc retainers provide strength. Each gun is carefully balanced approximately 1cm in front of the hinge pin to offer more stability than an upland model. A stock wrench included for removing the stock without removing the recoil pad. Each Forum Sporting comes with six CCP (Crowned Conical Parallel) competition extended chokes (CYL, SK, 2-IC, LM, M) tuned for sporting clays with: conical-parallel interior design, crowned muzzle, polished interior, knurling, and thread design that prevents them from coming loose during use. Plastic choke case included. A select premium grade Turkish walnut stock with a traditional high luster oil finish and palm swell on the pistol grip add to beauty and fit of the gun. Stocks are 14.75 inches long to allow for proper fitting. The barrels have ventilated center ribs for rapid cooling, 10mm parallel target top rib and double beads. A hard case is included with every Caesar Guerini sporting over/under.
