Bolt Rifles Descriptions
Browning A-Bolt Hunter
This rifle features a raised cheekpiece or comb which you can see in the profile above. This helps to direct recoil into the shoulder area and get the shooter's line-of-sight lined quickly with the scope. This rifle features a fine low-luster bluing on the barrel and receiver with a satin-finished walnut stock. It also bears the logo of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation on the grip cap. This is a tribute to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and a percentage of sales from this rifle goes to help support habitat, range, health and studies of elk throughout the United States.
Browning X-Bolt Predator Hunter 035306208
The X-Bolt is accurate, right out of the box, and in standard Browning style, it looks and feels amazing. It's a straight shooter, but extremely well crafted, glass bedded and free floated for superior accuracy. It's light weight makes it easy to carry and the advanced Inflex recoil pad tames the recoil of even the most savage magnums. Carry an extra magazine in your pocket, because the X-Bolt doesn't need an aftermarket upgrade to take detachable magazines. The trigger is screw adjustable from 3 to 5 lbs. and factory pre-set at approximately 3 1/2 lbs. An alloy trigger housing contains the hard chromed steel components that are highly polished on all critical contact surfaces. Precise engagement angles mean the X-Bolt Feather Trigger feels light and right and stays that way through many thousands of rounds. The bolt unlock button works in conjunction with the top tang safety to provide an added measure of safety during checking and unloading of the chamber. Conveniently located on top of the bolt lever, the bolt unlock button allows the bolt to be unlocked and opened with the safety in the on safe position. The safety blocks the trigger sear and features a firing pin block for added safety.Short 60 degree bolt lift is fast cycling and allows you to work the bolt quickly without the scope getting in the way. The X-Bolt is free floated by bedding the front and rear of the action for stability and to help maintain barrel to stock spacing for consistent accuracy. A recessed muzz
