Bolt Rifles Descriptions
Browning A-Bolt Hunter
This rifle features a raised cheekpiece or comb which you can see in the profile above. This helps to direct recoil into the shoulder area and get the shooter's line-of-sight lined quickly with the scope. This rifle features a fine low-luster bluing on the barrel and receiver with a satin-finished walnut stock. It also bears the logo of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation on the grip cap. This is a tribute to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and a percentage of sales from this rifle goes to help support habitat, range, health and studies of elk throughout the United States.
Browning T-Bolt Target/Varmint Composite
The Composite Target/Varmint Model will appeal to those who are serious about accuracy. With a matte black composite stock and heavy varmint barrel that provides pinpoint accuracy, this T-Bolt rivals custom guns costing much more. For some of us, those first shots were from an original Browning T-Bolt, one of the most accurate, handy and easy-to-shoot rimfires ever produced. Those days can now be relived with today's T-Bolt, a rifle every bit the equal of the original, with several exciting new features that put this unique rifle in a class by itself. These modern versions rely on the classic straight-pull bolt-action design to chamber each cartridge fed from the new 10-round rotary box Double Helix (patent pending) magazine. The T-Bolt's three-lever trigger offers a light, crisp break, and every barrel is free floating.
