Bolt Rifles Descriptions
Browning A-Bolt Hunter
This rifle features a raised cheekpiece or comb which you can see in the profile above. This helps to direct recoil into the shoulder area and get the shooter's line-of-sight lined quickly with the scope. This rifle features a fine low-luster bluing on the barrel and receiver with a satin-finished walnut stock. It also bears the logo of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation on the grip cap. This is a tribute to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and a percentage of sales from this rifle goes to help support habitat, range, health and studies of elk throughout the United States.
Browning BLR Lightweight '81 Hog Stalker 034024108
With the Browning BLR, shooters won't trade power and accuracy for quick handling and easy carrying. The BLR Lightweight '81 Hog Stalker Takedown has an aircraft-grade alloy receiver with a Picatinny scope base, glass-smooth rack and pinion system and multi-lug rotating bolt to handle many popular magnum cartridges, including WSMs. The precision-machined, button-rifled barrel puts those fast-stepping magnum bullets exactly where they're wanted, then travel or store in a space-saving takedown configuration. This Hog Stalker version has a Grade I walnut stock in the straight grip 81-style finished in Max-1 camo with Dura-Touch Armor coating and installed sling swivel studs. It also has a detachable box magazine, an adjustable fiber optic front sight and a wide, grooved trigger that travels with the lever.
