Handguns Descriptions
Beretta 90-TWO
The newly designed frame of 90two pistol ensures trouble-free insertion and holster extraction, thanks to its rounded and truly snag-free surfaces. Inside the frame, near the disassembly lever, a metallic recoil buffer reduces the impact of the slide assembly against the frame during the shooting cycle. By redistributing the stresses, the recoil buffer increases the service life of the firearm. Trigger guard is also rounded to ensure, when firing with two hands, the correct positioning of the supporting hand.
Walther Model 1
1871-1945, states that Carl Walther and his son Fritz first marketed their Selbstlade Pistole in 1906, which is a near impossibility given that the 6.35mm Browning pistol cartridge and the first gun designed to fire it, the 1906 FN Browning, did not appear on the market until July of 1906. Other sources (Boothroyd, Kersten, Rankin, and Smith) cite 1908 as the probable date for the introduction of the Model 1. An early advertising brochure for the gun refers to it as the Model 1909, and James B. Stewart says that the original instruction manual for the gun refers to it as the Model 1910. The Walther Model 1 has a fixed barrel and an open-top slide with sides that extend forward to enclose a recoil spring located beneath the barrel. The gun is striker-fired and has a “doll’s head” backstop for the striker spring virtually identical with that on the 1906 FN Browning.
