The newly designed frame of 90two pistol ensures trouble-free insertion and holster extraction, thanks to its rounded and truly snag-free surfaces. Inside the frame, near the disassembly lever, a metallic recoil buffer reduces the impact of the slide assembly against the frame during the shooting cycle. By redistributing the stresses, the recoil buffer increases the service life of the firearm. Trigger guard is also rounded to ensure, when firing with two hands, the correct positioning of the supporting hand.

The Heckler and Koch 416 Pistol is a handgun version of the H&K 416, chambered in .22LR. This 17.5-inch pistol has a 9-inch barrel (with a simulated suppressor) and is made with the same metal upper and lower receivers as the .22 416 rifle. The pistol grip has a storage compartment for small tools or batteries, machined rails allow for a variety of accessory add-ons, and the and the sights are rail-mounted for easy removal and customization. The magazines for the .22 caliber 416 pistol are the same as the .22LR 416 rifles. They are made of high-strength polymer and designed to make loading simple and efficient.
