Handguns Descriptions
Beretta 90-TWO
The newly designed frame of 90two pistol ensures trouble-free insertion and holster extraction, thanks to its rounded and truly snag-free surfaces. Inside the frame, near the disassembly lever, a metallic recoil buffer reduces the impact of the slide assembly against the frame during the shooting cycle. By redistributing the stresses, the recoil buffer increases the service life of the firearm. Trigger guard is also rounded to ensure, when firing with two hands, the correct positioning of the supporting hand.
Hawes Firearms Trophy
The Trophy revolver was made by J.P. Sauer & Sohn in 1970's in Germany as a copy of Smith & Wesson revolvers. They were imported and marketed in the USA by Hawes Firearms from Los Angeles, California so they are often offered on antique market as Hawes Firearms revolvers. Original price in 1971 was $130. Hawes also imported Medallion revolver that is same revolver as Trophy but it was offered with barrel in 3, 4, and 6 inch and ramp front sight. One imported by Hawes Firearms has these markings: Left side of the barrel is marked “J.P. Sauer & Sohn / Made in Western Germany”. The right side of the barrel is marked “Sauer Trophy / Cal. .38 Special” or 22LR. The right side of the frame is marked with the “S&S” logo and “Hawkes Firearms Co. / Los Angeles, Calif.” The grips are brown oversized checkered hardwood with gold “S&S” medallions.
