Black Hills issues this cartridge with the 115 grain Dual Performance projectile by Lehigh Defense. It’s a precision machined monolithic copper projectile, which makes it unable to deposit lead fouling on the barrel or within meat, as well as intensely well-balanced for excellent accuracy. The tough Dual Performance doesn’t lose a significant portion of its weight as it penetrates barriers or soft tissue. Immediately following impact the Dual Performance’s nose cavity initiates wide expansion. The Dual Performance then stretches out long cutting petals, each of which tracks its own individual wound channel in order to maximize the bullet’s effect on its target. And that effect is devastating indeed! Black Hills loads this ammo’s lead-free bullets with premium brass cases, Boxer primers and low-fouling propellant. That alongside the Dual Performance’s smooth-feeding nose profile will optimize functionality in any mag-fed firearm.
