Rifles Descriptions
30-06 - 175 Grain LRX - Barnes VOR-TX LR - 20 Rounds
Barnes loads their VOR-TX LR ammunition so you can go long-range hunting with the power of copper. This Utah-made 30-06 Springfield cartridge features the LRX – a polymer tipped monolithic bullet that offers several benefits while you’re taking deer, hog, bear, elk or sheep. The LRX’s solid copper body is quite naturally incapable of depositing lead fouling in the barrel. It also sports pressure-relieving grooves in its shank to decrease overall contact with the bore. The LRX itself is quite accurate as well, as its monolithic body possesses perfect weight distribution and its polymer tip is sharp and streamlined. The copper LRX cannot contaminate meat, and it’s even nontoxic to your game’s natural habitat! But the LRX is not good for whichever animal it hits. A metal as tough as copper retains its weight efficiently during penetration, so it reliably holds on to the momentum it needs to reach the vital area. The LRX’s tip conceals a deep hollow point nose cavity. It slams in there on impact to form four blade-like copper petals, which together track a wide wound channel through the quarry. This 0.508 G1 BC ammo is loaded with high quality components, non-corrosive and reloadable, and ready to drop any sharpshooter’s next trophy.
Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294
The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
