Rifles Descriptions
223 Rem - 55 Grain BTHP - Winchester Super-X - 20 Rounds
This 223 Rem ammunition by Winchester Super-X won’t just make a good partner the next time you get to the rifle range. Its projectile is also suited for taking varmints and predators! The BTHP is not engineered to open up and expand as it enters soft tissue, so it’s not an ideal choice for taking medium-sized game. What it does offer is accuracy. This round’s bullet has an evenly distributed lead core, as it solidified in place after it was poured into the jacket. So well-balanced a bullet performs even better thanks to its boat tail base, which reduces in-flight drag to help the bullet follow a flat trajectory, resist wind drift, and retain greater energy as it zips downrange. Super-X ammunition is loaded with clean-burning powder and non-corrosive primers, which together push this 223 Rem load’s 55 grain bullet to a reliable 3,240 fps muzzle velocity. New and uniformly tapered brass cases help an AR-15 cycle smoothy even after they have been reloaded a few times.
Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294
The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
