We got your general purpose 12 Gauge 00 buckshot ammo right here! Rio’s roots go way, WAY back to the year 1872. That’s when their parent company Maxam was founded by Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite! But we think you’ll agree that shooting stuff is way more important than winning a Nobel Prize. This shell is loaded with nine pellets of 00 buckshot. Each 1/3” diameter lead ball is made nice and strong with the addition of antimony, so it won’t lose its globular, aerodynamic profile when it’s jolted to life by ignition. This shell’s payload screams out of the muzzle at 1,345 fps, which gives it a combined muzzle energy of nearly 2,000 ft lbs! Whether you’d put all that force to use for range training, hunting or home defense, you won’t have to worry about dealing too little damage to your target. Maxam is a global explosives manufacturer, which is why Rio’s powder and primers are both top-notch. Count on cycling these shells nice and fluidly through any type of shotgun, and then reloading their hulls back at home! This ammo has Fiocchi headstamps, but it is in fact loaded by Rio.
