12 Gauge - 2-3/4" 375 Grain Frangible Slug - Winchester Ranger - 250 Rounds
A safer way to train with your 12 Gauge shotgun! This shell by Winchester Ranger is loaded with a 375 grain (~0.86 ounce) frangible slug. Because the single, solid projectile is made of a blend of sintered tin and copper powders, it completely disintegrates the instant it strikes a solid surface. That means virtually zero chance of splash-back or ricochets! This law enforcement grade training slug is 100% lead free, so it won’t disperse toxic particles into the air while you’re training indoors. Winchester complements such a healthful slug’s performance by loading each round with a primer that is devoid of heavy metals including lead, antimony and barium. The lead-free slug is also going to help keep your shotgun’s bore clean while you’re training. This round’s slug is lightweight. Alongside its hinged wad, which collapses during ignition, so light a slug is going to generate noticeably gentler felt recoil. You’ll experience less fatigue while you’re honing your aim. You’ll also experience less muzzle flip, so you’ll have an easier time firing accurate shots in rapid succession. This shell is specifically designed for range training. Its slug does achieve approximately the same muzzle energy as an AR-15 rifle’s 5.56x45 bullet, so it can certainly neutralize a threat – just take care that the slug, although frangible, is still capable of passing through soft tissue and walls.

The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport.
