12 Gauge - 3" 1-3/4oz. #9 Shot - Federal Heavyweight TSS - 5 Rounds
This Federal Heavyweight TSS 12 Gauge shotshell is designed specifically for Thanksgiving-minded hunters with its 1 ¾ ounces of Tungsten Super Shot. Because its #9 shot is 56 percent denser than lead, it not only contains substantially more shot in its 3” hull, but also delivers tremendous energy at high velocities, even over great ranges. Mr. Tom Turkey is as good as stuffed. These shells also feature FliteControl Flex wads, which provide very tight and consistent patterns in shotguns fitted with either standard or ported turkey choke tubes. (Side note: “FliteControl Flex” would make a great name for an early 90s rapper.) The full-length FliteControl Flex wad protects your barrel from the very hard tungsten alloy shot, and also helps to keep the buffering securely in place until you’re ready to fire. An investment in these shells is an investment in the turkey itself -- Federal donates a portion of their proceeds to the National Wild Turkey Federation, who since 1985 have stayed dedicated to preserving wild turkey habitat.
