The G17 Gen5 features a no finger grooved, multiple backstrapped, rough textured frame with hundreds of miniature spikes which results in remarkable traction for extreme environments and gloved operators. The frame also features a smooth trigger, reversible mag release, and ambidextrous slide stop. The magazine comes with a floor plate which is extended at the front for faster magazine change, and a orange follower, while the flared mag-well makes it easier to funnel the magazine into the mag-well. Glock\'s nDLC finish provides a tougher, more durable protection against corrosion and scratching. STI International Match Master
Following on the heels of the popular STI Steel Master, the Match Master delivers all the advantages of a full size race pistol in a model that is smaller, lighter, and faster reacting. Built on the patented modular steel frame with polymer grip, the STI Match Master utilizes the innovative Trubor compensated barrel which is designed to eliminate misalignment of the barrel and compensator bore or movement of the compensator on the barrel. The full size recoil system in the MatchMaster gives a greater reduction in muzzle flip. The shorter 4.15 classic slide decreases overall slide cycle time, allowing the shooter to achieve faster follow up shots. The slide has lightening cuts on the front and rear to reduce weight while custom “Sabertooth” serrations further add to the overall good look. The Match Master is mounted with a C-More (6 MOA) red dot scope with blast shield and thumb rest. Additional enhancements include a blended aluminum magwell, stainless steel ambidextrous safeties, stainless steel high rise grip safety, STI’s Spur hammer, and checkered front strap and mainspring housing.
