The G17 Gen5 features a no finger grooved, multiple backstrapped, rough textured frame with hundreds of miniature spikes which results in remarkable traction for extreme environments and gloved operators. Smith & Wesson 44 Hand Ejector 2nd Model Target

Manufactured from 1915-1940, this is a rare target example of a S&W .44 Hand Ejector Second Model revolver. The included factory letter states the revolver was shipped on 30 March 1922 to Brendamour Sporting Goods Co. and no other information was obtained from the incomplete records. It has a pinned blade front sight, adjustable notch rear sight, casehardened checkered hammer and smooth trigger, checkered grips, provision for a lanyard and standard markings.
